Have you ever been to a church festival? We hold those all the time, but not for the same reason as most of the other places. While our congregation holds various charity events throughout the year, we like to hold them for specific families who are in need and attend our church. This year we needed to find some sort of Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt.

We were given ten different poker tables from various charities to help with the event, but they were old and rugged. So in order to get everything into an appropriate working order, it meant we had to spruce things up a bit. So about thirty of us took on different tasks like painting, scraping, rebuilding, and of course, we had to make some purchases. My objective was to find some cheap Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt.

Since there were only 8 days to work with before the weekend came (yes we were a little slow), finding the Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt had to be fast. I went searching on the Internet since everything seems to be here now, but finding something to look good on our tables was difficult. The biggest problem was keeping within the church’s budget, and still be able to make a purchase that would actually help.

While I could tell you a long story about how I searched for 18 hours straight, it would put you to sleep in a heartbeat. So long story short, I came across the best option around three in the morning and was able to get enough felt for every single table. The reason I picked this particular Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt was due to the color, the durability, the fantastic and authentic betting lines, as well as the price.

See, some of the old tables we had left over looked like they belonged at a picnic. You know, the folding tables you put that Bob Evans cloth over? Anyways, there were tears in some of them and the padding on top was worn down on others. My goal was to place this new felt on each one for a new look, but I wasn’t sure if it could look right.

Needless to say we have a carpenter that goes to our church that wanted to give it a try. The end result was a Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt with a 36″ x 72″ cut, leaving us with plenty to staple onto the folding tables. These went over so well at the fundraiser; I seriously don’t think the event would have had the same effect if we didn’t use them.

The event itself was an absolute treat, and a complete success. We raised enough money to get a new home, get them health insurance, and set them up with food for an entire year. It’s one of the most gratifying moments in my life, and that of many others who contributed. In the end, we couldn’t have done it without the help of the Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt for each table.
